About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians (hot side) to service commercial cooking and food-service equipment across Pennsylvania. The company serves restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes from branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. The role involves responding to dispatched service calls, diagnosing and repairing equipment, documenting work, and delivering a strong customer experience. Technicians must be able to participate in an on-call schedule, with overtime pay for on-call work.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or working in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record that aligns with the company’s safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA certification or manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair issues with commercial equipment.
• Accurately report service activities on a tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience while supporting customers and partnering with internal team members.
• Work an on-call schedule, including overtime work when needed.
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.
