Commercial Contract Agent
About The Position
LCRA is looking for a Commercial Contract Agent to join their technology & telecom team in Supply Chain. This role requires superior attention to detail and organizational skills. The Commercial Contract Agent will review agreements, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, negotiate with suppliers, and partner with Legal to negotiate favorable agreements for LCRA. The ideal candidate has experience in negotiating contracts and knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, or telecommunications. Requirements
- Six or more years of experience in procurement, contract administration, inventory management or other relevant experience.
- A degree in business, supply management, economics, finance or other relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in contract negotiations
- Knowledge of purchasing processes for goods and services
- Understanding of technology, cybersecurity, or telecommunications.
- Proven ability to successfully negotiate favorable agreements
- Effective communication skills and comfort interacting at various levels within LCRA
Responsibilities
- Negotiate new contracts with selected suppliers
- Process contract amendments
- Review Software License Agreements
- Contribute to LCRA’s standard contract templates
