About The Position

Join Axos Bank’s immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. In addition to day-to-day duties, interns participate in a capstone project, sessions with business leaders, financial literacy training, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns choose between two sessions: May 25–August 13 or June 14–September 3.

The Commercial Banking Intern supports teams within the Commercial Banking division, including client onboarding, sales operations, and treasury management. The position provides hands-on exposure to banking processes, regulatory frameworks, client service strategies, and product design. Interns also help the UX team meet project design and research needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding new client accounts and managing signer changes.
• Respond professionally to internal and external requests within service-level agreements.
• Support development of process maps, procedures, and “Rules of Engagement” for sales teams.
• Input and track sales team activities in Salesforce and provide operational feedback.
• Participate in strategic and operational projects across Commercial Banking and Treasury Management.
• Handle general client service requests, including account maintenance and user support.
• Collaborate with specialty deposit groups to understand client needs and service models.
• Help the UX team meet project design and research needs and gain exposure to the product design process.
