About The Position

The Talent Development Program Manager encompasses strategy, design, implementation, and management of Workforce Development programs in HR across Huntington. The Workforce Development programs include our Exact Track, Western Governor's University, Udacity, and Dependent Scholarship, all of which support the upskilling of colleagues currently employed at Huntington or their dependents (Dependent Scholarship), and builds new programs directed by senior leadership (University of Michigan, Colorado Technical).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Human Resources
  • 5+ years of career program management or commercial banking background.

  • Previous experience that included partnering with business segment and HR leaders
  • Data acumen, with experience using data to inform and influence decision making
  • Highly proficient in Office 365, including (Excel, Teams, PPT, and Word)
  • Comfortable in a matrixed organization and in dealing with ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Act as business partner to internal and external partners on programs.
  • Program marketing, recruitment, and enrollment of programs, including working with the vendor (school), hosting information sessions, designing/accepting applications, selection process and acceptance for colleagues into programs.
  • Monitor success and showcase results, which involves maintenance and measurement of colleague experience and achievement in programs, includes defining measurement metrics and reporting in addition to executive level overviews of program impacts on retention and promotion of participating colleagues, as well as, check ins with schools and colleagues quarterly on progress and academic success.
  • Evolve and expand Workforce Development programs which includes working with business segments and colleges in footprint to determine additional programs to offer to support business needs.
  • Manage provided budget allocation which involves ensuring colleague enrollment doesn't exceed budgetary allocation, and working with colleges to ensure that proper payments are completed according to schedule.
  • Program Administration, which includes ensuring programs are running smoothly and school and colleague relationships are positive and productive, as well as, solving for questions or exceptions for colleague needs according to the project charters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
