About The Position

Crash Champions is seeking a Collision Estimator to guide customers through vehicle repairs and insurance procedures while managing repairs from the initial estimate through final repair order closeout. The role includes evaluating vehicle damage, preparing and locking estimates, monitoring repair quality, and keeping customers informed throughout the repair process. The estimator also works with Body Technicians to review data procedures, completes post-scanning, and ensures repair files and carrier requirements are complete.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of working with insurance partners.
Knowledge of multiple estimating systems; CCC One is preferred, as are Mitchell and Audatex.

Responsibilities

Educate customers about vehicle repair processes, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
Complete initial estimates, prepare complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates.
Manage each repair throughout the process and perform in-process quality control to ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards.
Keep customers informed and updated on vehicle status and provide a positive customer experience.
Pull and review data procedures for or with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle during the repair process.
Pre-close the final repair order, handle disbursement paperwork, address file exceptions, and ensure carrier-specific requirements are complete.
