About The Position

Crash Champions is hiring a Collision Estimator to guide customers through vehicle repairs and insurance procedures while managing repair estimates and repair orders. The role involves preparing initial estimates, completing estimates after disassembly and damage evaluation, and locking final estimates. The estimator oversees repairs through completion, performs in-process quality control, keeps customers informed, reviews vehicle data procedures with Body Technicians, and completes post-scanning. The position also includes pre-closing final repair orders, handling disbursement paperwork, addressing file exceptions, and confirming carrier-specific requirements are complete.

Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $140,895 per year, inclusive of monthly sales incentive bonuses. The actual offer depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers about vehicle repair processes, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
• Complete initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair throughout the process and perform in-process quality control to ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards.
• Keep customers informed about their vehicle’s status and provide a positive customer experience.
• Pull and review data procedures for or with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process.
• Pre-close final repair orders, handle disbursement paperwork, address file exceptions, and ensure carrier-specific requirements are complete.
