About The Position

The Collision Estimator guides customers through vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value. The role prepares initial estimates and complete estimates after vehicle disassembly and damage evaluation, then locks final estimates. The estimator manages repairs throughout the process, performs in-process quality control to meet Crash Champions’ standards, and keeps customers informed about vehicle status. Responsibilities also include reviewing data procedures with Body Technicians, completing post-scans for vehicles in the repair process, pre-closing final repair orders, handling disbursement paperwork, addressing file exceptions, and ensuring carrier-specific requirements are complete.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of dealing with insurance partners.
Knowledge of multiple estimating systems; CCC One is preferred, as are Mitchell and Audatex.

Responsibilities

Educate customers on vehicle repair processes, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
Complete initial estimates and full estimates after disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates.
Manage each repair throughout the process and perform in-process quality control to ensure company standards are met.
Keep customers informed and updated on vehicle status and provide a positive customer experience.
Pull and review data procedures for or with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process.
Pre-close final repair orders, handle disbursement paperwork, address file exceptions, and ensure carrier-specific requirements are complete.
