About The Position

Gaylor Electric is offering a Summer Internship Program for college students, providing meaningful career growth through industry-leading technical skill development and world-class professionalism training. The program has previously welcomed students from over 70 institutions. With over 200 students participating, interns are placed at national Gaylor Electric locations and job sites across the country. Throughout the summer, interns will receive support in resume development, interview preparation, business best practices discussions, and professional headshots, culminating in an academic capstone presentation or craft skills assessment. This internship combines construction career exploration, technical skill honing, and robust professionalism, with roles available in Field, Manufacturing, Project Management, Engineering, BIM/VDC, Safety, and Corporate departments (Accounting, Human Resources, Education, Information Technology, Marketing). Interns will develop skills related to their academic field, refine their professional resumes, improve interview habits, enhance networking skills, and learn about high-value positions in the trades. The program is an 8-to-11 week paid opportunity designed to help students expand their knowledge beyond the classroom, apply their major's concepts, gain hands-on experience, develop their potential, make key contacts, determine career interests, receive professional feedback, and further their education.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree that aligns with Gaylor Electric's needs: Construction Management, Engineering (Architectural Engineering, Electrical, Civil and Construction), Occupational Health & Safety, Business, Finance, Marketing, Accounting or any other related college or work-related experience.
