College Craft Internship (Indianapolis, Summer 2027)
About The Position
Gaylor Electric's Summer Internship program is an 8-to-11 week paid opportunity designed for college students and recent graduates. The program offers construction career exploration, technical skill development, and professionalism training. Students are placed at national Gaylor Electric locations and job sites across the country. Throughout the summer, interns receive support in resume development, interview preparation, business best practices discussions, and professional headshots. The program culminates with an academic capstone presentation or craft skills assessment. Interns will gain hands-on, real-world experience, apply academic concepts, determine career interests, receive professional feedback, and expand their resumes and professional networks. The program aims to integrate students into the Gaylor Electric culture and highlight high-value opportunities in the trades.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree that aligns with Gaylor Electric's needs: Construction Management, Engineering (Architectural Engineering, Electrical, Civil and Construction), Occupational Health & Safety, Business, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or any other related college or work-related experience.
