About The Position

Public Buildings seeks a College Aide for the Queens Public Library Program. The College Aide will support the unit by assisting project managers with administrative and technical tasks, maintaining project documentation, tracking schedules and milestones, preparing reports and meeting materials, coordinating communications, and conducting research. This support will improve efficiency, allow professional staff to focus on project delivery, and help advance major capital projects while maintaining day-to-day operations. Please note: All candidates must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States (U.S.). Requirements

  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school.
  • Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school.
  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or closely related field, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study (for Assignment Level II).
  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or other area relevant to the information technology project(s) assigned, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study (for Assignment Level III).
  • Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States (U.S.).
