About The Position

College Aides directly support Public Buildings capital projects through planning, design, and construction. They work alongside project teams to streamline workflows, track regulatory milestones, and help ensure critical New York City projects stay on schedule, and support timely regulatory approvals for Public Building’s capital program. The position provides valuable exposure to public-sector project delivery, construction management, and regulatory processes while helping the unit advance operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be a student enrolled in an accredited college or graduate school to be eligible for the position.
  • Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States (U.S.).
  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school.
  • Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school.
  • For Assignment Level II (Information Technology): Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or closely related field, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study.
  • For Assignment Level III (Information Technology Fellow): Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or other area relevant to the information technology project(s) assigned, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and formatting training materials and presentations
  • Assist with the development of PB Foundations SharePoint repository, including training materials, templates and resources
  • Track and coordinate key program activities, meetings and deliverables
  • Provide administrative and program coordination support
