About The Position

The Team Lead, Collections works as part of the bigger Accounts Receivable and Collections team. As a Team Lead, you will support the team with their day-to-day administrative tasks, ad-hoc requests, and work closely with Management.

Requirements

Post-secondary education in an Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration program
5 to 7 years of accounting experience, including Accounts Receivable
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Thorough understanding of business principles and practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong documentation abilities
Strong attention to detail
Effective time management and organization
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization

Responsibilities

Review outstanding A/R (especially > 60 days) and follow-up internally within PBS and/or with customers
Act as a back-up for Manager, Accounting – Corporate
Manage collections team including reviewing daily deposit postings
Handle Accounts Receivable (A/R) inquiries via phone calls and emails professionally
Create and maintain relationships with internal teams and customers
Engage within PBS organization to ensure all team members follow required processes
Ad-Hoc projects
Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
