About The Position

This position involves training, coaching, supervising, and evaluating Coffee Bar associates to maintain performance standards and oversee all Coffee Bar activities. The role is primarily conducted in a store environment and requires managing customer service levels and multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. The job entails exposure to cold temperatures when handling products in coolers and freezers, and involves hazards such as sharp knives, dust, cleaning chemicals, and equipment movement.

Requirements

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables as they are presented.
Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
Ability to understand and follow written, verbal or demonstrated instructions.
Ability to write identifying information.
Ability to request supplies orally or in writing.
Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with color vision and depth perception.
Ability to read the descriptions on the boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise in the proper locations.
Ability to work shifts varying in length and times, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.
Train, coach, supervise, and evaluate Coffee Bar associates.

Supervise and participate in all Coffee Bar activities.
Handle products in cooler (approximately 28 degrees Fahrenheit) and freezer (-20 degrees Fahrenheit).
Maintain customer service levels and handle multiple priorities.
Work with sharp knives.
Occasionally exposed to dust, cleaning chemicals, and equipment movement hazards.
Work in a fast-paced environment where stressful situations are encountered.
