About The Position

This position is for internal candidates and involves training, coaching, supervising, and evaluating Coffee Bar associates. The role requires maintaining performance standards and participating in all Coffee Bar activities. The duties are typically performed in a store environment with exposure to cold temperatures (28 degrees Fahrenheit in coolers and -20 degrees Fahrenheit in freezers). The position carries significant responsibility for customer service levels and managing multiple priorities. There are occasional hazards including sharp knives, dust, cleaning chemicals, and equipment movement. This is a fast-paced work environment where stressful situations may be encountered.

Requirements

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables as they are presented.
  • Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, verbal or demonstrated instructions.
  • Ability to write identifying information, and request supplies orally or in writing.
  • Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with color vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to read the descriptions on the boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise in the proper locations.
  • Ability to work shifts varying in length and times, including nights, weekends and holidays.
