About The Position

This position involves providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. The role includes training, coaching, supervising, and evaluating Coffee Bar associates, maintaining performance standards, and supervising/participating in all Coffee Bar activities. The duties are typically performed in a store environment. There will be exposure to cold temperatures (approximately 28 degrees Fahrenheit in the cooler and -20 degrees Fahrenheit in the freezer) when handling products. The role requires maintaining high customer service levels and managing multiple priorities. Hazards include working with sharp knives, and occasional exposure to dust, cleaning chemicals, and equipment movement. This is a fast-paced work environment where stressful situations may be encountered.

Requirements

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables as they are presented.
  • Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, verbal or demonstrated instructions.
  • Ability to write identifying information.
  • Ability to request supplies orally or in writing.
  • Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with color vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise in proper locations.
  • Ability to work shifts varying in length and times, including nights, weekends and holidays.
