About The Position

Gorsuch is hiring Coffee Bar Attendants for its Gorsuch Ski Cafe & Coffee Bar at the base of Aspen Mountain in Aspen, Colorado. The position focuses on preparing and serving high-quality coffee and related beverages while providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service in a welcoming environment. Attendants maintain a clean, organized coffee bar and comply with health and safety standards. The role calls for a passion for coffee, attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting. Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or a food and beverage role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment operation.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Legal eligibility to work in the specified location.

• Barista certification or formal training in coffee preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations when requested.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, including washing utensils, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and process transactions promptly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
