These positions are located at our Gorsuch Ski Cafe location at the base of Aspen Mountain in Aspen Colorado 81611. We have full time and part time year-round and summer seasonal positions available. We are seeking Coffee Bar Attendants to join our Gorsuch family. About the Role: As a Coffee Bar Attendant at Gorsuch Ski Cafe & Coffee Bar, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by preparing and serving high-quality coffee and related beverages. Your primary focus will be to ensure that every guest receives prompt, friendly, and efficient service in a welcoming environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This role requires a passion for coffee, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting. Ultimately, your contribution will help foster customer loyalty and support the overall success of the coffee bar within the retail trade industry.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred but not mandatory.
Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment operation.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Legal eligibility to work in the location specified.

Nice To Haves

Barista certification or formal training in coffee preparation.
Experience working in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Knowledge of health and safety standards related to food service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations when requested.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, including washing utensils, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and process transactions promptly.
Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
