About The Position

The Cocktail Server provides drink service in the outlet/bar, ensuring guests are served and that all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. The position reports to the Beverage Shift Manager. Days and shifts vary based on business needs. Weekly earned wage access is available as an option.

Requirements

• Be able to obtain and maintain ABLE Certification.
• Be able to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Have 1–3 months of equivalent combined education and experience.
• Have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain special promotions.
• Take orders and recite selections of call and premium brands as requested; memorize all available drinks.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale system to notify the bartender that an order has been placed.
• Replenish beverages as requested and check back frequently with guests to ask about their satisfaction.
• Deliver beverages to patrons and ensure payment.
• Check and maintain the proper setup and cleanliness of the service station before, during, and after the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, including removing empty glasses and bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
• Check identification to confirm age compliance for anyone ordering alcoholic beverages.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
