About The Position

The Cocktail Server provides drink service in the outlet/bar, ensuring guests are served and that procedures for dispensing alcohol are followed. The role reports to the Beverage Shift Manager. The position is listed as full-time and part-time, with days and shifts varying based on business needs. Pay is $7.00 per hour, with average tips of $15.74. Weekly earned wage access is available as an option.

Requirements

• Can obtain and maintain ABLE Certification.
• Can read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• 1–3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain special promotions.
• Take orders, reciting available call and premium brands as requested, and memorize the available drinks.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale system to notify the bartender.
• Replenish beverages as requested and check with guests about their satisfaction.
• Deliver beverages to patrons and ensure payment.
• Check and maintain the setup and cleanliness of the service station before, during, and after the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, including removing empty glasses and bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
• Check identification to confirm age compliance for anyone ordering alcoholic beverages.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
