About The Position

The Cocktail Server provides beverage service in Coury Hospitality bars, lounges, and outlets, ensuring guests receive a professional, friendly, and efficient experience. The role follows property service standards, safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service guidelines, and works with bartenders, food runners, and outlet management to support seamless service and guest satisfaction. Additional tasks may be assigned or revised at the manager’s discretion based on business volume and work needs.

Requirements

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages under local regulations.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
Ability to carry trays, glasses, and beverages weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
Ability to work in a bar or lounge environment, including exposure to heat and crowded conditions.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cocktail or beverage service experience; training will be provided.
Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage service techniques.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and professionally, and provide menus and information about beverage offerings.
Take and deliver cocktail and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe bar stations, service areas, and guest seating areas.
Recommend beverages and answer questions about beverages, cocktails, and pairings.
Check identification and comply with responsible alcohol service laws and regulations.
Collaborate with bartenders and team members to support smooth and efficient service.
Address guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Process payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures when applicable.
Assist with setup, restocking, and closing of the bar or outlet as required.
Participate in team meetings and training to maintain service excellence and product knowledge.
