About The Position

Pioneer Human Services is hiring a CNC Mills Operator II to operate milling machines in support of its mission to empower justice-involved individuals to overcome adversity and reach their full potential. The position involves setting up, operating, or tending milling machines to mill, shape, groove, or profile metal work pieces; reading blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to ensure customer specifications are met; programming machines; and training new employees. The role is listed as a swing-shift position working 4/10s. New hires typically start between $28.08 and $35.10 per hour, depending on work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus. It is safety-sensitive and subject to pre-employment and during-employment drug testing, including marijuana testing.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years of experience operating machinery.
Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications.
Experience working with tight tolerances.

Nice To Haves

Experience on Mazak machines.
