About The Position
Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing is hiring an HVAC Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical components of HVAC systems. The role requires understanding HVAC equipment, electrical circuits, and controls, as well as the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. The electrician will deliver the company’s service standards and communicate clearly with customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of electrical experience.
- High proficiency with Apple products.
- Competent Excel skills.
- Valid driver’s license with limited violations.
- Required Journeyman’s card (01 or 02).
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, electrical circuits, and controls.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong customer communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring and components for HVAC systems, including motors, compressors, thermostats, and control units.
- Diagnose electrical issues within HVAC systems and perform timely repairs.
- Ensure installations and repairs comply with applicable codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians and electrical technicians.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC electrical systems.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Stay current with industry best practices and code requirements.
