About The Position
Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing is hiring an Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical components of HVAC systems. The role requires a strong understanding of HVAC equipment, electrical circuits, and controls, along with the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. The electrician will deliver the company’s service standards through clear customer communication and help provide outstanding home-service experiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of electrical experience.
- High proficiency with Apple products.
- Competent Excel skills.
- Valid driver’s license with limited violations.
- Required Journeyman’s card (01 or 02).
Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring and components for HVAC systems, including motors, compressors, thermostats, and control units.
- Diagnose electrical issues within HVAC systems and perform timely repairs.
- Ensure installations and repairs comply with applicable codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians and electrical technicians.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC electrical systems.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Stay current with industry best practices and code requirements.
- Communicate clearly with customers and deliver the company’s service standards.
