About The Position
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Setup Machinist to produce high-quality components that meet rigorous standards. The role involves editing programs and setting up a HAAS EC630 Horizontal CNC Mill to produce precision parts according to specifications. The position is on 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with Saturdays as needed from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a CNC Mill Setup Machinist.
- Experience operating CNC lathes.
- Familiarity with Fanuc CNC controls.
- Familiarity with Haas CNC controls.
- 3+ years of experience as a horizontal Mill Setup Machinist with 4-axis functions.
- Proficiency in G-Code, M-code, Fanuc controls, and blueprint reading.
Responsibilities
- Edit programs and set up a HAAS EC630 Horizontal CNC Mill to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements.
- Perform quality checks using bore gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Maintain tooling and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product quality.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
