CNA Day and Night Shifts
About The Position
Atrium Centers is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Westgate Nursing, Rehabilitation & Assisted Living Community in Ironwood, Michigan. The role provides resident care in accordance with approved Care Plans and supports residents’ daily activities, safety, and personal care. The CNA is expected to follow infection-control procedures, comply with documentation and record-keeping policies including recording vital signs, and immediately report violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights. The position is offered on 1st and 3rd shifts, with 8-hour shifts, at a 65-bed facility. Compensation is up to $26.40 per hour. Requirements
- Completed CNA/STNA course and state license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Service mentality and a thirst for learning.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent attendance.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care according to an approved Care Plan.
- Assist residents with daily activities, safety, and personal care.
- Understand and practice infection-control procedures.
- Comply with documentation and record-keeping policies, including recording vital signs.
- Immediately report violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights.
