About The Position
Exceptional Care for Children (ECC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join its healthcare team. ECC is an around-the-clock residential facility providing skilled care to medically fragile children and young adults with technology dependencies. The organization provides transitional, long-term, and palliative care. This is a full-time position with three 12-hour shifts per week, available on either the day shift (6 a.m.–6 p.m.) or night shift (6 p.m.–6 a.m.).
Requirements
- Must have a Delaware CNA license.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and advocacy to residents requiring clinical expertise.
- Interact with residents through activities such as conversation, play, and holding or cuddling to provide daily stimulation.
- Assist pediatric patients with activities of daily living.
