About The Position

Brookdale Salina Kirwin is hiring a Kansas-certified Certified Nursing Assistant for its 32-apartment assisted living community in Salina, Kansas. The role works with community management to provide seniors with personalized care and shares resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift. The position is available full-time or part-time. Brookdale offers professional development and opportunities to advance into roles such as Medication Technician (QMAP), Home Care Aide, and Nurse.

Requirements

Must hold Kansas CNA certification.
Successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course is required.
Must maintain certification.

Responsibilities

Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
Provide resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal care needs.
Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming.
Maintain CNA certification.
