About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The position works the second shift, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The CNA assists residents with daily living, documents and reports changes in their health or behavior, engages residents in meaningful activities, and provides emotional support and exceptional care.

Requirements

• Valid CNA or HHA license.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
