About The Position

Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare is seeking a CNA or PCA to provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. Duties and responsibilities vary based on each client’s service plan and needs. The role offers flexible scheduling, varying shifts Sunday through Saturday, and part-time or full-time hours depending on client needs. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a current CNA license or PCA certificate.
• Pass a Virginia State Police background check.
• Complete state-required reference checks.
• Have one year of caregiver experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
• Have a valid driver’s license or state ID and reliable daily transportation.
• Be able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Have adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift when required by the client.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals, assisting clients when they are able.
• Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
• Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete other duties included in the Client Service Plan.
