About The Position
Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare is seeking a CNA or PCA to provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. Duties vary according to each client's service plan and may include companionship and emotional support, housekeeping, assistance with mobility and transfers, personal care, meal preparation, and toileting. Caregivers are expected to report unusual events, respond responsibly to emergencies, and complete other duties in the client's service plan. Scheduling is flexible, with varying shifts available Sunday through Saturday based on client needs. Part-time and full-time hours are available depending on client needs. The listed salary range is $15.00–$17.00.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current CNA license or PCA certificate.
- Must pass a Virginia State Police background check.
- State-required reference checks.
- One year of caregiver experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
- Valid driver's license or state ID and reliable daily transportation.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- Adequate physical endurance.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer lift as appropriate to the client.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Plan, prepare, and serve meals, with assistance from clients when they are able.
- Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
- Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
- Complete other duties included in the Client Service Plan.
