About The Position

Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare is seeking a CNA or PCA to provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. Duties and responsibilities depend on each client's service plan and may vary according to the client's needs. Both part-time and full-time hours are available depending on client needs, with varying shifts available Sunday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a current CNA license or PCA certificate.
• Must pass a Virginia State Police background check.
• Must complete state-required reference checks.
• Must have one year of caregiver experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
• Must have a valid driver's license or state ID and reliable daily transportation.
• Must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Must have adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform housekeeping.
• Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift as applicable to the client.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals, involving clients when they are able.
• Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
• Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete all other duties specified in the Client Service Plan.
