About The Position

Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare is seeking a CNA or PCA to provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. Duties vary according to each client’s service plan and may include companionship and emotional support; housekeeping; assistance with transfers, ambulation, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; and planning, preparing, and serving meals. Caregivers report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator, respond appropriately to emergencies, and complete other duties specified in the Client Service Plan. Assignments and responsibilities may vary based on client needs.

The position offers flexible scheduling, varying shifts Sunday through Saturday based on client needs, and part-time or full-time hours depending on client needs. Compensation is listed as $16.00–$17.00 per hour. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a current CNA license or PCA certificate.
• Pass a Virginia State Police background check.
• Complete state-required reference checks.
• Have one year of caregiver experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
• Have a valid driver’s license or state ID and reliable daily transportation.
• Be able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Have adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer lift as appropriate to the client.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals, with assistance from clients when they are able.
• Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
• Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete other duties within the Client Service Plan.
