About The Position

As a Personal Care Assistant with Right at Home Wilmington, you will provide high-quality, reliable care that helps clients remain at home. This position supports a female client who needs companionship and light assistance with activities of daily living. Cats are in the home, though they are rarely seen. The available schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in Wilmington, North Carolina. The employer also refers to the role as PCA or CNA.

Requirements

• Be reliable, hardworking, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile in caring for clients.
• Have a vehicle and be able to get to scheduled shifts.
• Pass a background check for felonies and misdemeanors.
• Pass a drug test.
• Provide tuberculosis test results from within the past year.
• Have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to the client.
• Provide light assistance with activities of daily living.
• Arrive reliably and on time for scheduled shifts.
• Communicate and work with the office team to support positive caregiver and client experiences.
