About The Position

Home Health Services of Virginia is seeking a dedicated PCA/CNA to provide compassionate care to clients in Ashland, Virginia. The position has a consistent schedule from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with no weekends or holidays required. The role supports clients with personal care and daily living activities while promoting their independence, comfort, and safety.

Requirements

• Current PCA or CNA certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to client homes in Ashland, Virginia.
• Pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Assist with daily living activities while promoting client independence and comfort.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to appropriate nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
• Document care provided accurately and promptly.
