About The Position

Right at Home is seeking a cheerful Personal Care Assistant to support a female client in Wilmington, North Carolina. The client is a former musician and singer. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with consistent hours. The assignment includes helping with bathing and dressing, preparing meals, and providing companionship. Cats live in the home, but pet care is not required. Applicants must have a vehicle and be able to work at least 10 shifts per month.

Requirements

• Be dependable and arrive on time and ready to work.
• Have a vehicle; the employer cannot rely on Uber, Lyft, friends, or family for transportation to work.
• Be able to work at least 10 shifts per month.
• Be available Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Have a genuine interest in caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with bathing and dressing.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide companionship.
