About The Position
The Material Handler is responsible for moving, organizing, and documenting goods, supplies, and materials within Illuminate USA’s manufacturing facility. The role involves operating material-handling equipment, including forklifts, to transfer and store materials efficiently. The Material Handler also maintains inventory accuracy and keeps the production area clean and organized. This is a shift position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4–6 years of material-handling experience.
- Strong learning and communication skills.
- Knowledge of fire and manufacturing operations safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate material-handling equipment to move and stack materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to facilitate transfers of goods as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the production area.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
