About The Position

This opportunity is for a Material Handler (Receiving Operator) in South Brunswick, NJ, USA, on a Day Shift, Monday-Friday. The role involves controlling or operating machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other production line steps. The Material Handler will complete all assigned work, including safely and accurately picking stock, ensuring stock accuracy, and performing various warehouse and materials-related tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move materials (frequently up to 50 lbs / 23 kg).
• Experience with forklifts or material-handling equipment (may require certification).
• Basic computer and inventory-tracking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities.
• Sampling of raw materials and unloading trailers.
• Work picking and weighing out materials.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Move materials to storage or production areas.
• Pick and stage materials for production or shipping.
• Operate equipment such as: Forklift, Pallet jacks or Hand truck.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanners to track inventory.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas organized.
