Caregiver (PCA/CNA)
About The Position
Trinity at Home is hiring an in-home Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients in their homes. The position is based in the Salisbury, North Carolina area and involves travel to client homes throughout the local service area. Applicants should live in or near Rowan County/Salisbury and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules across first, second, and third shifts. Listed weekday shifts are 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; every other weekend is required. Pay is $13–$15 per hour. Caregivers provide daily living assistance, companionship, medication support, health monitoring, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and communication and coordination with families and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Applicants should live in or near the Rowan County/Salisbury area and be able to travel to client homes throughout the local service area.
- Strong understanding of patient care and ability to adapt to individual needs.

Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in geriatric care or other healthcare settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support and foster a positive, supportive environment.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor client health status.
- Maintain clear records and communicate health changes to families or healthcare professionals.
- Support safe mobility, including walking, transfers, and use of mobility aids.
- Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
