CNA Med Passer (PM Shift) - Roseville
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring a CNA Med Passer for its Roseville Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The caregiver works directly with residents to provide personalized, person-centered care and support. The position is open to experienced or newly certified caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors. Medication-administration training is provided. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. Ongoing support from experienced leadership and a development program with wage increases are also provided.
Requirements
- At least six months of caregiving experience.
- CNA certification.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- At least 18 years old.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Availability for the PM shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Help administer medications.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meals.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations.
