About The Position

The Commons in Lincoln, a Benchmark community, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) for its Assisted Living/Mind and Memory team. The role delivers care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. Pay is $19–$20.25, commensurate with experience, with shift differentials. Availability includes per diem, all shifts; part-time 3–11 p.m. Mondays; part-time 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; and part-time weekend shifts, including every-other-weekend options for 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3–11 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7 a.m.

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts CNA/HHA license required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
