About The Position

Family Life Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide professional care to patients in their homes in Lake Butler, Florida. Assignments may include long-term care or assistance with recovery from an injury or illness. Family Life Care works with aides to build schedules around their needs and serves clients ranging from children to senior citizens, including veterans.

CNA/HHAs assist clients with activities of daily living, meal preparation, health observation, companionship, light housekeeping, and memory care. They work independently while following care plans and report concerns about clients’ health to healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current Florida CNA license or a 75-hour Home Health Aide Certificate from a school approved through the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Current TB test with negative results.
• Ability to pass a Level II background check.
• Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions.
• Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning duties.
• Compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently while following care plans.
• Working smartphone.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and help ensure clients receive nutritious food suited to their dietary needs.
• Observe clients’ health status and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in clients’ living environments through everyday light housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry.
• Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, helping ensure safety and promote cognitive engagement.
• Follow care plans while working independently.
