About The Position

Transcend ED is hiring an overnight CNA, CMA, Psych Tech, or RMA to support clients at its residential treatment center in Monroe, North Carolina. The role provides care and supervision in a structured, recovery-focused environment serving up to six adolescent clients receiving eating disorder recovery and behavioral health support. The schedule is described as three days per week on a rotating schedule, with listed shift times of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 7:30 AM–7:30 PM, or 8:00 PM–8:00 AM. The posting describes the job type as part time to full time.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience as a CNA, CMA, or RMA.
• Active and current CNA, CMA, or RMA certification.
• Ability to work overnight shifts on a rotating schedule, three days per week.
• Ability to manage a maximum of six adolescent clients in a specialized residential setting.
• Reliability, calmness under pressure, and ability to work independently overnight.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Passion for helping individuals in recovery from eating disorders or mental health conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Current Medication Administration certification.
• Previous experience in behavioral health, residential care, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive care and supervision to clients throughout the night.
• Conduct routine safety checks and monitor the treatment environment for security and comfort.
• Assist with medication administration, when authorized as a Medication Administrator, in accordance with licensure and policy.
• Document observations, incidents, and client interactions accurately.
• Support clients in maintaining a structured routine, including wake-up and morning transitions.
• Maintain the facility's cleanliness and organization overnight.
• Respond to crises and escalate concerns to clinical staff as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care.
