About The Position

The CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care in long-term care and Assisted Living settings. The role supports patients with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, adjunct care, monitoring, comfort, and documentation. Full-time, part-time, and casual openings are available in Columbus, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Hold a current CNA license.
• Have at least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene care, including assisting with bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves, and travel to the bathroom.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning and positioning patients, and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Provide adjunct care, including administering enemas and douches, applying non-sterile dressings, performing surgical preparations, applying ice packs and heat treatments, providing sitz and therapeutic baths, and applying restraints.
• Check vital signs and weight, test urine, and record intake and output information to help maintain patient stability.
• Support patient comfort by using available resources and materials, transporting patients, responding to call lights and requests, and reporting patient observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Complete forms, reports, logs, and records documenting actions.
