About The Position

The CNA / Care Partner provides direct care to residents and assists them with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care. The position also involves maintaining proper care records, reporting changes in residents’ conditions, and communicating effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.

Requirements

• Hold an active, state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing with the state.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Obtain a Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Have previous experience working with the elderly.
• Have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member and independently.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Be honest, fair, dependable, and respectful of confidentiality and others’ rights and privacy.
• Meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
