About The Position

McFarland Clinic is accepting applications for a CMA, LPN, or RN to work in its Urgent Care clinic at the Carroll office. Candidates should be service-oriented team players who can provide extraordinary care to patients. The role is scheduled as needed and may include weekdays and/or weekends. Hours rotate between Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and Saturday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. A $2.50-per-hour differential applies when working Saturday and/or Sunday; applicants should ask for details if a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or an accredited school of nursing.
For medical assistants: certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), ANHP, NCCT, or NHA.
For LPNs: current state Licensed Practical Nurse license.
For RNs: current state Registered Nurse license.
Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Nice To Haves

Clinic experience preferred.
IV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Room patients.
Take patient vital signs and histories.
Perform point-of-care testing.
Administer immunizations and other injections.
Assist in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Cross-train to help maintain reception desk activities, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and assisting with online booking.
