About The Position

McFarland Clinic is accepting applications for a CMA/LPN/RN in its Urgent Care clinic at the Carroll office. Candidates should be service-oriented team players who can provide extraordinary care to patients. The role is scheduled as needed and works rotating hours. The position may include a $2.50-per-hour differential for Saturday and/or Sunday work. Applicants are subject to pre-employment drug screening and criminal history background checks.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants or an accredited school of nursing.
For Medical Assistants: certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), ANHP, NCCT, or NHA.
For LPNs: current state Licensed Practical Nurse license.
For RNs: current state Registered Nurse license.
Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Service-oriented and a team player.
Pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal history background checks.

Responsibilities

Room patients.
Take vital signs and patient histories.
Perform point-of-care testing.
Administer immunizations and other injections.
Assist in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Cross-train to assist with reception desk activities, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and assisting with online booking.
