About The Position

Willow Creek Country Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Clubhouse Custodian to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our members, guests, and employees. The Clubhouse Custodian is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of the clubhouse and other assigned areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and is able to recognize and address cleaning needs without always requiring specific direction.

Requirements

Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Ability to recognize and address cleaning needs without requiring specific direction.
Professional and courteous when interacting with Club members, guests, and coworkers.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning throughout the clubhouse, including dining areas, offices, hallways, locker rooms, restrooms, lounges, and other common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and carpets as needed.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, showers, and other fixtures.
Restock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other necessary items.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
Dust and wipe down furniture, counters, fixtures, doors, windowsills, and other surfaces.
Clean glass, mirrors, windows, and doors as assigned.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of member and employee common areas.
Assist with cleaning before, during, and after Club events and functions as needed.
Respond promptly to spills, messes, and other cleaning needs that arise during a shift.
Monitor cleaning and restroom supplies and notify management when additional supplies are needed.
Identify and report maintenance concerns, damage, or potential safety hazards.
Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
Keep janitorial closets and storage areas clean and organized.
Follow established safety procedures and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning products and equipment.
Perform other custodial and general facility duties as assigned.
