About The Position

The Club Sports Study Hall Supervisor supports the department and its coaches and student-athletes, with a focus on academic enhancement for Club Sports student-athletes. The position directly supervises study hall on a daily basis, challenges student-athletes to achieve academic goals, and provides and facilitates a healthy, effective study space. The supervisor also performs duties assigned by designated supervisors, keeps abreast of relevant technologies, processes, products, services, and industry performance benchmarks, and works collaboratively in support of LU’s mission. If travel is required as part of the position, driving may require use of a personal or LU vehicle. Employees driving for work must provide proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance. The role is part-time and onsite. Pay range: $12.77–$18.00. The position may be eligible for benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.

Responsibilities

Support the needs of the department as directed by the designated supervisor.
Communicate with and provide support to coaches and student-athletes.
Perform duties assigned by supervisor(s).
Remain abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services, and leading industry performance benchmarks.
Work effectively as a team member while embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
Support academic enhancement for Club Sports student-athletes.
Directly supervise study hall on a daily basis.
Challenge student-athletes to achieve academic goals.
Provide and facilitate a healthy and effective study space for student-athletes.
