About The Position

The Club Sports Study Hall Supervisor supports the department and its coaches and student-athletes, carrying out duties assigned by a supervisor. The role directly supervises daily study hall sessions and supports academic enhancement for Club Sports student-athletes by encouraging them to achieve academic goals and facilitating a healthy, effective study space. The supervisor is expected to stay informed about relevant technologies, processes, products, services, and industry performance benchmarks, and to work effectively as a team member in support of LU’s mission. If travel is required to perform the position’s duties, the employee may need to use a personal or LU vehicle. Driving for work requires proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance. This is a part-time, onsite position. Compensation is listed at $12.77–$18.00; benefits may be available, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.

Responsibilities

Provide support as directed by the designated supervisor and perform assigned duties.
Serve departmental needs.
Communicate with and provide support to coaches and student-athletes.
Stay abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services, and leading industry performance benchmarks.
Work effectively as a team member and support LU’s mission.
Support academic enhancement for Club Sports student-athletes.
Directly supervise study hall on a daily basis.
Challenge student-athletes to achieve academic goals.
Provide and facilitate a healthy and effective study space for student-athletes.
Travel using a personal or LU vehicle when required for the position.
