About The Position

Microsoft is seeking a customer-facing Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) – Copilot to guide customers through AI transformation with Copilot Chat, Agents, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. The role serves as a strategic trusted advisor and technical subject matter expert, accelerating AI adoption and change management by creating business value and return on investment. The position involves helping organizations integrate AI capabilities into business applications and realize secure, innovative solutions. Work is flexible, with up to 50% from home; travel varies by role. Applicants may be considered for multiple opportunities across the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting; or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft is unable to sponsor a work visa for this role due to the nature of the job duties.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a listed or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree in a listed or related field and 6+ years of relevant experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting; or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, internal and/or external.
• 4+ years of experience working on technical projects.
• Technical certification in cloud, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certifications.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in at least one of Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility (plugins, connectors), Copilot Studio (orchestration, customization), Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Cognitive Services, or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer challenges into actionable solutions aligned with high-ROI outcomes and create business value.
• Provide a seamless customer experience that fosters satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term value.
• Lead architectural design and engage business and technical decision makers to drive intent and sustained use of Copilot Chat, Agents, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Apply Copilot prompt engineering and agent-building expertise to drive AI at scale.
• Partner with technical and sales teams to identify growth opportunities and develop tailored solutions that support expansion and business value realization.
• Participate in relevant communities, share expertise, contribute to intellectual property creation, prioritize reuse, and learn from others to accelerate customer AI transformation.
• Act as the voice of the customer by sharing insights, feedback, and success stories to inform internal strategy and execution.
• Continuously build knowledge in Copilot Chat, Agents, Microsoft 365 Copilot, business value realization, and adoption and change management.
• Maintain technical readiness aligned with Customer Success Unit priorities and corporate initiatives.
• Embody Microsoft’s culture and values.
