Microsoft is seeking a customer-facing Cloud Solution Architect focused on Copilot and agents to guide federal agency customers through AI transformation. The role serves as a strategic trusted advisor and technical subject matter expert, helping customers adopt Copilot Chat, Agents, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, manage organizational change, and realize business value and return on investment. The position requires verification of U.S. citizenship because of citizenship-based legal restrictions and support for U.S. government customers. The employee must also pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter. The role involves working with business and technical decision-makers, customer success and sales teams, and internal technical communities. It calls for ongoing self-directed learning and technical readiness aligned with Customer Success Unit priorities and corporate initiatives. The typical U.S. base pay range is $106,400–$203,600 per year; the range for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area is $137,600–$222,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled, with the posting open for at least five days.
